NCR & Carbonless Printing

NCR & carbonless paper printing.

NCR paper — short for “No Carbon Required” — is the transferable ink paper that copies your writing onto the sheets below without messy carbon film. Write on the top sheet, and a duplicate appears instantly on the coloured copies underneath.

We print custom NCR sets for Singapore businesses: invoice books, receipt books, delivery orders, quotation pads, and work order forms — all branded with your company logo, numbered if you need it, and bound into easy-to-use pads or books.

Frequently asked questions.

What is NCR paper?

NCR stands for “No Carbon Required”. It's a special transferable ink paper: when you write or stamp on the top sheet, pressure transfers the image onto the sheet(s) below, creating instant duplicates without carbon film. It's the standard paper for invoice books, receipt books, and delivery orders.

Is NCR paper the same as carbon copy paper?

They do the same job, but NCR (carbonless) paper is cleaner and more modern. Old-style carbon copy paper needed a separate carbon sheet between pages; NCR paper has the copying chemistry coated onto the paper itself — no smudges, no inserts.

What's the difference between 2-ply and 3-ply?

2-ply gives you one original plus one copy (usually white + yellow). 3-ply gives one original plus two copies (white + yellow + pink). Choose 3-ply if your customer, driver, and office each need a copy.

Can you add running numbers to our invoice books?

Yes — sequential numbering is one of our most-requested options. Tell us your starting number and we'll continue from your previous book so your records stay unbroken.

What sizes do NCR books come in?

The most common sizes are A4, A5, and DL. We can also print custom sizes to match your existing forms — send us a sample and we'll match it.
